80 Years Young!

2017 celebrates the 80th Anniversary of The Company of the Curtain. To celebrate we held an exhibition of photographs, costumes and props spanning our history.

Members of the company and members of the public all visited the exhibition. We hope everyone had a good time reminiscing and perhaps learning some new things about the company.
Thank you for your support!

Classic Comedy!

We are busily in preparation for our next production of 2016! In May, we will be staging one of the classic Farndale comedies - 'The Farndale Avenue Housing Estate Townswomen's Guild Dramatic Society Murder Mystery'. Phew! It's a real mouthful of a title, and we will be sure to serve you up a comedic feast of an evening!

It's a steal!

Hurry up, folks... the box office for our final production of the 2015 season is opening soon! Tickets for our production of 'Theft' by Eric Chappell go on sale at 08:00 on Wednesday 19th August.

In her debut directorial role, Claire Williams is looking forward to entertaining audience members new and old with this hilarious production penned by the writer of the cult series 'Rising Damp'.

Rehearsals are well underway and our set construction crew are busily turning our designers' ideas into reality in time for the opening night in October.

For more information look at 'Our Next Production' page, get in touch with the Box Office on 01675 463095 or email tickets@companyofthecurtain.com.

The best bar none!

Regular members of our audience will be familiar with the usual refreshments available during a performance run. The opening night plays host to a tea, coffee and soft drinks service, whilst the remainder of the week sees a full licensed bar service in operation. Well, a change is as good as a rest, but there will be no rest for our bar staff!

The Company of the Curtain is pleased to announce that it will now be operating a bar for the full performance run. This service is to be trialed during our October 2015 production of 'Theft'. As usual, there will be a selection of beers and wines as well as the usual tea, coffee and soft drinks. This service is available both during the interval and after the performance. What better opportunity for audience members to meet the cast and chat with all those who help deliver the evening's entertainment?

We look forward to meeting you after the final curtain!
