Awards

It has been tradition within the company for many years that Plaques are awarded to members of the Studio Group at the end of a production, for things such as contribution, effort, and performance. The recipients of these Plaques are judged by another neutral member of the company, who has watched the full performance, and has heard about the contributions that each member has made to the production as a whole. They then judge who they believe should win the awards for this particular production, and the reasons for which each individual has done so.

If you know of anyone who may like to join Studio Group please contact our Secretary, Pam Harper, on info@companyofthe curtain.com

Studio Group

Currently our Studio Group sessions are not running, but this is hopefully only temporary. More news will be added to the website when the sessions are back up and running. If you think that you would be interested in getting involved with Studio Group sessions in the future please contact the Secretary at info@companyofthecurtain.com

Every theatre company has a different name for it's Youth Group.

Ours is Studio Group.

The Studio Group is for young adults, aged between 11 and 18 years old, to come and experience theatre first hand.

We aim to put on at least one full production a year and to develop the skills of those who wish to learn more about acting, directing, and theatre as a craft.

Our last production was "Sweeney Todd, The Demon Barber of Fleet Street", By C G Bond, which ran from 21st - 23rd January 2010.

The show was a massive success, and a big well done, and thank you goes to all of the cast, backstage crew, front of house and production team.
